Individual Counseling

Individual therapy has changed over the years. It no longer carries the stigma it once did. I attribute this to a new generation of people who are determined to face life's challenges by using all of their options, including professional counseling. The focus today is "what will it take to change the present in a positive way".

Personal Trauma Therapy

Personal Trauma presents itself on a scale from Very Mild (but annoying) to Unbearable. It can affect your everyday life and peace of mind. We can't really walk in our children's shoes once we take on the role of "parent". You may have been raised in a kid friendly environment or a dysfunctional home. The term "Internet Addictions" may be a little misleading since it is not considered an established disorder at this time. However, compulsive Internet use has jeopardized marriages, family relationships and even the jobs of many good people.

Families with ADD

ADD, ADHD and dyslexia are not just an individual's problem. This is a family system issue which eventually affects all critical facets of a person's life! If you or a family member is suspected of having ADD you will benefit when you become a knowledgeable part of the support system.
